Join us in person at the Raleigh Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services for a two-part event discussing disability inclusion in the workplace. Deanna Jones from DHHS will present Windmills, a disability awareness and inclusion program that equips business leaders with the knowledge, skills and tools to create an inclusive workplace. Taborah Adams joins us to share her personal experiences as someone diagnosed with invisible disabilities and the impact it can have in the workplace. 

BIOGRAPHY:

Deanna Jones is a Regional Specialist of Employment Services with 23 years of experience assisting job seekers and employers. Deanna specializes in recruiting, hiring, training, and managing employees with disabilities, and she is responsible for facilitating disability awareness events and trainings for employers, community organizations, and conferences. Deanna is currently employed as a member of NC Vocational Rehabilitation’s regional management team.

Taborah Adams has a master’s degree in divinity and Christian Education and a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership. She is an ordained minister and Certified Life Coach. Additionally, she is on the committee board of the Poor People’s Committee Board as the Raleigh Triangle Area Theomusicologist, as well as a volunteer at the North Carolina Correctional Institution for Women.
