OFCCP Audits – The New Rules

Audits are Coming. A Lot of Them. And the Rules for Audit Success Have Changed. What Do We Do? How Do we Prepare?

OFCCP plans to go from about 870 audits in 2018 to 3,500 in 2019. And by February, 2019, OFCCP will publish on its website, for all to see, the list of employers/locations slated for audit during 2019. Audits will start soon after. To make things more interesting, for OFCCP, things have changed fast and in many ways big and small. During 2018 OFCCP published 12 directives and issued other pronouncements that combined to change profoundly the Agency’s enforcement priorities, direction and approach. A changed OFCCP means new rules to learn and understand to ensure day-to-day compliance and success during audits.
